In accordance with the GDPR requirements, this privacy policy describes how and when we collect, use and share information when you purchase an item, contact us or use our services through laanbarcelona.com or its websites and services related.

This privacy policy does not apply to the practices of third parties that are not owned or controlled by us.

1-THE INFORMATION WE COLLECT.

In order for us to ship your order to you, you must provide us with certain information that you have already authorized Laan Barcelona to provide to us. This information includes your name, email address, postal address, payment details and the details of the product you have requested. You can also provide us with other personal information (for a custom order, for example), if you contact us directly.

2.-WHY WE NEED YOUR INFORMATION AND HOW WE USE IT.

We rely on certain legal bases to collect, use and share your information, including:

  • when necessary to provide our services, to submit your order, to resolve a conflict or to provide customer support.
  • when you have provided your consent, which you can revoke at any time, by joining our mailing list;
  • if necessary to comply with a legal obligation or court order or in connection with a court action, such as withholding information about your purchases if required by tax law; and
  • when necessary for the purposes of our legitimate interests, if your rights or interests do not invalidate them, such as 1) providing and improving our services. We use your information to provide the services you have requested in the legitimate interest to improve our services; and 2) comply with Laan Barcelona policy and terms of use. We use your information as necessary to fulfill our obligations regarding sellers policy and terms of use of the applicable law.

Information about our clients is important to me. We only share your personal information for very specific reasons and circumstances, such as:

  • Shopify. We share information with Shopify when necessary to provide our services and comply with the obligations established by the policy and conditions of use of Laan Barcelona.

However, we may also need to retain this information to comply with our legal and regulatory obligations, to resolve conflicts and to enforce our contracts. Generally, we keep your data for the following period: 6 years.

5-TRANSFERS OF PERSONAL INFORMATION OUTSIDE THE EU.

We may store and process your information through third-party hosting services in the US and / or Europe. As a result, we may transfer your personal information to a jurisdiction that has different data protection and government surveillance laws than your jurisdiction.
